What is REME?

REME delivers custom massage and stretch therapy directly to your home, office, or hotel. Select your service and we’ll be at your door whenever you need us.

 

How do I book a service?

We make it easy. Download the app, register, then select the service you want.

 

How do you vet your certified massage and stretch therapists?

Anyone who applies to join our family of Experts will go through a detailed verification process to confirm that they are licensed, insured, and experienced. We hire only massage therapists who are certified with the CAMTC. The CAMTC conducts both federal and state background checks. We then personally verify each Expert’s certification and liability insurance. Many of our Experts have worked at 5-star spas throughout the United States.

 

Our Stretch Therapists come from a variety of backgrounds, from certified massage therapists, physical therapists, yoga and pilates instructors, chiropractic assistants, or personal trainers! Our Stretch Therapists undergo the same vetting process as anyone else who is looking to become a REME Expert.

 

When it comes to vetting Experts, we keep our standards high to ensure each Client receives a safe, comfortable, REME experience.

 

How far in advance can I book an appointment?

You can book up to 48 hours in advance if you’re feeling proactive.

 

Can I book a massage directly with an Expert instead of using the REME App?

To enjoy the full benefits of REME and our certified Experts, we require Clients to book through our app. This ensures safety for our Clients and Experts.

 

Can I rebook with the same therapist?

Coming soon! Our Clients love our Experts, so it’s no surprise that rebooking is in high demand. We’re making this capability our top priority for release in the near future.

 

How much clothing should I remove?

Whatever makes you comfortable! Whether you prefer to leave your undergarments on or be completely nude under the sheet, our Experts are trained with the utmost professionalism to keep everyone comfortable during the experience.

 

Do I need my own massage table?

Nope! Our Experts bring everything, your only job is to answer the door. If you do own your own massage table, feel free to type that into the “Notes” section when booking your appointment and the Expert can use yours.

 

Do I need my own linens?

No. Your Expert will provide their own fresh linens. Sit back, relax, and take a deep breath! (they smell great)

 

How do I prepare for my massage?

Make sure that you have showered before the massage and pick a spot in your home where there is enough room for a massage table to be set up. You’re all set!

 

What makes the massage “custom”?

Great question! Each massage begins with a 5-10 minute consultation where your Expert will get to know what you want out of your experience. Every massage is designed around your body and your individual needs. After all, no body is alike.

 

How long will my massage take?

Massages can be booked for 60, 75, or 90 minutes. You also have the option of booking a Back-to-Back (two 60-minute massages) or a Back-to-Back Express (two 30-minute massages)

 

How do I pay and tip?

For massage payment, your card will be charged through our app. When it comes to tipping, you can tip before, after via cash or card.

 

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

• All Services Except Couples Massage:

You may cancel your service within 10 minutes at no charge. If you cancel after 10 minutes and your service is scheduled within the next 12 hours, you will be charged a $50 cancellation fee.

 

• Couples Massage:

You may cancel your service within 10 minutes at no charge. If you cancel after 10 minutes and your service is scheduled within the next 12 hours, you will be charged a $100 cancellation fee.

 

What cities are you in?

We currently service Southern California from Los Angeles to San Diego.

 

What should I do after my massage?

After rating your massage in the app, it’s essential that you hydrate immediately after your massage. You should also shower to clean any oils or lotions used on your body during the massage.

 

Is it normal for skin to become irritated after a massage?

Yes. Massage is known for releasing muscle tension and relieving stress, but sometimes people have reactions. This can stem from any of the following:

 

Sensitivity to massage oils, lotions, or even the detergent used on the massage table sheets can cause skin irritation. Again, a good shower is usually all it takes to alleviate this. If irritations persist, consult with your doctor.

 

Slight itching, tingling, or numbing feelings are common and normal when circulation is increased throughout the body. Throughout your massage, blood vessels and capillaries become enlarged and can cause these sensations. This typically fades within an hour.

 

Sometimes prescriptions heighten the nerve sensitivity and circulation in the body. A good shower should relieve this feeling. If irritations persist, consult with your doctor.

Stretch Therapy

What is Stretch Therapy?

This is a technique also known as myofascial release. Our trained Experts will guide you through stretching your muscles to help improve your flexibility and mobility.

 

How do I prepare for my stretch session?

Make sure that you have showered before the service and pick a spot in your home where there is enough room for a massage table or yoga mat to be set up.

 

How long are the stretching sessions?

Stretch therapy can be booked for 45 minutes.

 

How far in advance can I book an appointment?

Just like our massages, stretch therapy appointments can be booked up to 48 hours in advance.
